GREELEY, Colo., Dec. 9, 2022, BuiltWorld has named Thai Nguyen among their 2022 Adoption Leaders 50 List. While all nominees are recognized as leaders influencing the adoption of innovation for their companies and the industry overall, Thai continues to help spearhead this change at Hensel Phelps, Diverge and within the AEC industry.

With over 20 years of innovation experience, leading the development and implementation of Hensel Phelps’ Virtual Design and Construction department, Thai has grown the team to over 100 team members, influencing the adoption of VDC systems, tools and processes company-wide. His contributions and influence to construction technology have been insurmountable.

In an effort to cultivate the technology it needs to meet productivity, efficiency and safety goals in coming decades, Greeley, Colorado-based Hensel Phelps has launched Diverge, a new investment company that works directly with technology startups to mold industry-changing innovation.

“We’re very committed to investing in the future of our industry,” Hensel Phelps executive vice president Brad Jeanneret told Construction Dive. “We’ve made ad hoc investments over the years, but Diverge adds a real focus and structure to what we’re doing to invest in the future.”
